The University Square (Piața Universității) has become one of my favorite places for a photo shooting in Bucharest. Maddie and I took these pictures in October, and I am super excited to finally share them with you!
This is the second part of our photo shooting at Afi Cotroceni, from the first day of the 5 DAYS OF FASHION challenge. I have already published the first part of the project a while ago, under 5 DAYS OF FASHION – DAY 4: SHOPPING DAY. I have received incredible feedback on those pictures, both on my blog and Instagram. Thank you guys so much for your support, your insights really help us a lot! 😃

Living the life of a fashionista
I remember writing the article announcing the beginning of this series, and I can’t really believe it’s already over. It feels like so little time has passed, yet so many things have happened. Lots of videos, pictures and fashionable activities.
The purpose of this whole experiment was, I repeat, self-discovery. I wanted to live the life of a fashionista, and I did! 😀 I chose not to wait until “I have the money” or until “I’ll have more time”, I chose to do it now. Because that’s how things happen – in the now. Not in the future nor in the past. If you want to do something, do it now. Because tomorrow will be just like today and just like the day after and the day after and the day after. Nothing will change. You must change things.
I have learned several things by pushing myself to go through this challenge, and I would like to share them with you now: Continue reading
This whole fashion week has been a lot more intense than I’ve expected, a lot of things have happened, I have learned so many lessons and I have pushed myself outside my comfort zone every single day. Which is why, again, I recommend all of you to also join me in this challenge, or any challenge of your choice.
The thing that made it so intense for me was also the fact that I have made it public, so I had an extra reason to stick to it. Maybe if I would have kept this experiment for myself, I wouldn’t have gotten to the fourth day and I wouldn’t have done so many things related to it. I am really glad that I have taken this decision, thank you so much everybody for being with me! I have received so much support from you guys, and I am extremely grateful for that! 😀
Wow, we’re halfway there!
Today was a beautiful day, super productive and fashionable. I have managed to do everything that I had in plan (which you will see in the checklist below), and I am really enjoying every moment of it, this experiment is an amazing way to discover what I like and what I don’t like. 🙂
Of course, I can’t go to fashion shows or restaurants every day, especially because I have a full-time job, but I am doing my best to do as many “fashionable” things I can during one day – wear makeup, style my hair, plan my outfits, go out, take a lot of pictures, be super active on social media and so on. I hope you guys are enjoying this as much as I do, and thank you s much for joining me in this experiment, for watching and for voting on my Instagram stories!
Time for some Gossip Girl! 😀
Day 2 was a bit milder than the first one, because it was not only about fashion, but work also. I have checked a lot of items on my list, you’ll see it below, and it was an overall productive and fashionable day. 😀
After the daily recap from below, you will find some pictures that Maddie and I shot last summer. I never got the chance to share them with you, and I am super excited because I have started to see such a huge improvement, both for Maddie as a photographer and for me as a model, after looking at old pictures versus new ones.
I leave you with the 5 DAYS OF FASHION – DAY 2 RECAP and the photo shooting, and see you tomorrow for day 3 of the challenge! 🙂
Wow, this day was intense.
First of all, if you haven’t seen my Instagram stories, make sure to check them out daily. I am going to post all the live updates there.
Before sharing with you the recap, I would like to write a few words about this whole challenge.
Five days like a fashion girl
The purpose of this experiment is self-discovery, that is why, on my Instagram story, I have also encouraged you to do it. I have decided to live five days like a fashion girl in order for me to find out what it actually feels like, and whether I like it, or not.
So far, I can say that I’m really enjoying it. But there are 4 more days to come, so who knows what’s gonna happen next.
My main problem regarding sharing this personal experiment with you was the part where I had to film myself talking about it. At first I have hesitated a lot, because I was so worried about what people would say about me if I do this. And then I realized that, if everybody cared about what others think about them, then we would all be the same, doing the same things and obeying all the rules, whether we like them or not. Allow me to introduce to you: “5 DAYS OF FASHION”, a series / personal experiment that I have been wanting to do for a super long time.
Long story short: in the following five days I am going to live like a fashionista. What do I mean by that? Well: pretty outfits every day, lots of makeup, shopping sessions, Starbucks, taking lots of pictures to show everybody how pretty I am… all that jazz.
Hey guys! First of all, I would like to thank you for all the love that you showed towards my latest fashion article! I am extremely grateful for all your comments and messages!
If you follow me on Instagram, then you know that I mostly wear black or neutral tones ( white, nude, denim ) sometimes paired with one element which brings a pop of color to the outfit. Your comments made me think about the fact that I really do not own so many colorful clothes, which is why I have challenged myself to bring more color to my wardrobe.
Since so many of you guys have complimented the dress that I was wearing in last week’s Fashion post, I have decided to make an inspirational board in case you also want to integrate brighter colors in your outfits. We shall begin, of course, with royal blue, because I personally find it pretty difficult to create an outfit around this color. Below you can find the mood board that I have created for you, I hope it will inspire you to wear more colorful clothes, at least from time to time. 😛 Continue reading
I am super excited to finally share with you this post about my collaboration with Civion!
Civion is a jewelry online store based in New York. They have a looot of beautiful jewelry pieces on their website, so I was really happy when they reached out to me and asked me to promote some of their products.
Back from the holidays
Hey there, so good to be back! How are you guys doing? How did you spend your Easter holidays? I hope you are all well and ready to get back in business. 🙂
Today I want to share with you the last outfit for cold weather, since the weather is so gloomy here in Bucharest. Who knows when cloudy days may return? This is why I have prepared this “cold-spring” outfit for you.
I must say that in this #outfit post I am wearing two of my favorite clothing items in my wardrobe: my burgundy faux-fur jacket and my most beloved ZARA jeans.
An outfit for cold weather
I only buy my jeans from Zara, because it is the brand that I trust the most in terms of high quality denim. I have been looking for a good pair of ripped jeans for months, until I have found the ones that I am styling in this Fashion post. They are one of my most beloved pieces. They are super versatile and comfy and you can wear them with almost anything, from an elegant blouse and high heels, to a casual T-shirt and sneakers. A perfect outfit for cold weather! I have decided to start a new Fashion series, called “Style Muses“. In this series, I am going to choose one fashion influencer that I really admire, and share with you my favorite outfits ideas and trends, inspired by the selected influencer.
Today’s Style Muse is Kristina Bazan from Kayture.com.
I have been following Kristina since she began fashion blogging, 7 years ago. In fact, she is the first person to ever inspire me in the fashion domain, and the reason why I started fashion blogging a few years ago. I have always admired her classy yet playful style and, even though she has changed a lot over the years, I can say that I would still wear any of her outfits. Ever.
At the beginning of her blogging career, Kristina’s fashion tastes were focused mainly on very chic and colorful clothing items. Lately she has started to adopt a darker, more rock-ish style, which I equally like.
If you want to find out more about Kristina, make sure to check her blog and Instagram, I have linked them both at the end of the post.
Without further ado, here are some of my favorite Kristina Bazan trends, that YOU can also rock and get inspired from: Continue reading
Part 1 of the series HERE.
Part 2 of the series HERE.
Today’s post features a super chic and comfy outfit, perfect for school, going to the mall or for a day out with your friends. The items that I am wearing are all basic pieces, which you can combine with everything already existent in your wardrobe.
A faux-fur coat can always, always level up the appearance of an outfit. It is such a delicate, feminine and glamour piece, that stands out on its own, which is why I have paired it with an all black look.
I have to mention though that the coat is not the most reliable in terms of keeping you warm, but the thick turtleneck sweater underneath might save you from the cold weather. Continue reading

Since the weather here in Romania has been so “friendly” later, I have decided to share with you a very weather-appropriate outfit.
This one is more on the casual side, but as simple as it may seem, I believe that the details and the color combo make it stand out.
Even though this may not be your usual “fashion blogger inspired” outfit, it is a cool and casual look that anybody can wear anywhere. It is super comfortable and it is perfect for going to classes or meeting with friends.
I believe that fashion bloggers nowadays set very unrealistic expectations in terms of clothing. I mean, who in the world wears a skirt at -10° Celsius? And who can actually walk in heels on slippery ice? If you’re into that kind of thing, good for you, everybody is free to wear whatever they like.
For the rest of us who have to actually face the cold winter weather, here is a totally foolproof outfit:
I have always wanted a long, grey coat, it is a very versatile piece for the fall-winter season. So when I found this one in H&M, I immediately bought it, since the price was also pretty accessible compared to other similar ones that I have seen in other shops.
Valentine’s day is just around the corner ( I mean, like, tomorrow ). For the ladies who haven’t decided what to wear yet, I have prepared a list of 3 outfits which are perfect for a Valentine’s day rendez-vous.
Even though I am not a big fan of Valentine’s Day – love should be celebrated every day, couples should always do fun things together and people should express their feelings of affection every day, not only once a year – I know there are lots of people out there who really make a big deal out of Valentine’s day, so I am here to help.
Here are the three outfits that I have created in order to give you some inspiration for this occasion: Continue reading
Does it ever happen to you to just sit there and all of a sudden realize that you have no idea where the whole day has disappeared? Of course, you had an incredibly busy day, you did not waste a single second, you had lots of activities and goals to accomplish, yet you feel like the whole day has lasted for one second, you feel like you have just woken up at the end of the day, not knowing how you got there. This used to happen to me all the time until a while ago when I realized what the problem was: the fear of deadlines.
“You are the average of the five people you spend the most time with.” – Jim Rohn
It is extremely unfortunate that so many people with huge potential are wasting their time and capabilities because they allow the wrong “friends” to influence them. And it is not necessarily about the fact that your closest friends have a big impact on your behavior, which is also true, but it is more about the people you choose to spend your time with, choice which tells a lot about your personality, expectations and perception of life. Thoughts first, outfit at the end of the post.
Lately I have been going through a pretty rough phase and I have lost my motivation almost completely, for a short period of time. But now I have been working on regaining it, and I have started to think about this subject a lot, read articles and watch YouTube videos, and I have realized that too many people around me are only reacting to their lives, to the things that happen to them, instead of making things happen for them, because they have lost their motivation, and I find this extremely disappointing. Hi, everyone! This is my blog. It’s been here since 2014, but I haven’t had the courage to share it. Until now. That is why this post, about my experience at GLAMOUR Street Fashion Show, will be in Romanian, for all my Romanian friends and acquaintances, who will now – hopefully – become the majority of my audience. I will translate the main ideas of this article at the end of the post. Until there: I WON SECOND PLACE! Thank you all so much for your votes and for your support!
I am going to begin with the link: here you go. All you have to do is give me a 10, if you like my outfit 🙂 . For more details, keep reading.

I have always been the type of person who loved rainy days. Don’t get me wrong, nothing motivates me and energizes me more than looking at the blue sky on a sunny day, but the smell of the air after the rain and hiding under a blanket with a cup of tea or hot chocolate… priceless. That’s why my absolutely favorite season is, without any hesitation, fall.
I am in love with fall fashion, maybe because I have always had this weird thing – and I hope I’m not the only one – for getting all covered up and cozy; it makes me feel safe. When I was little and there was a storm outside, I would go and sit in the corner of my room, between the bed and the wall, with one of my toys, both of us covered in a blanket, and not only would I feel protected, but I would also feel comfortable and happy. Therefore, the simple action of switching from tank tops to fluffy sweaters, from sandals to boots and from cardigans to coats, to me, is the equivalent of opening a Christmas present. They say “home is where the heart is”. For me, home is the place where I grew up, because only there I feel like myself, I feel happy and motivated to develop myself, because there are too many distractions anywhere else. There is no place where I feel better than at home, surrounded by everything that, until a while ago, I have completely forgotten to love – the mountains, the forest, the wild flowers. To me, my hometown is the most beautiful place on Earth.
Hey there! If you are one of the few people who are not following me on Instagram (which is highly unlikely, because I have a feeling that my Instagram account is more popular than my blog) I suggest you go to @alexandra_bulac ( Click Here! ) for more fashion / lifestyle / beauty and travel pictures, just like the ones that you are about to see in this post!
Instagram is one of my favorite apps, because it is the place where I find so much inspiration from whatever subject, even though my main purpose is to find fashion inspiration from my favorite bloggers or even from my friends – because, yes, I have very fashionable friends. Continue reading
Current thoughts: the key to happiness is not caring about what other people think.
I know, I know, you might have heard this a hundred times, but just think about it: it’s right, isn’t it? And I am putting it out there because this idea has been proven to me pretty much every single day lately. Continue reading
I am pretty sure that it has also happened to you, even though you probably haven’t given it enough thought. It usually occurs when something good great amazing happens to you, something that gets the blood racing through your veins. Continue reading
