Lash Botox
Lash botox, lash extensions, hair dyeing, gel nails. I have never been a fan of these beauty procedures. They never clicked with me.
I have seen great results at my friends over the years, indeed. But I never took the time to try any of them.

Nu sunt fană a procedurilor de beauty. Manichiura cu gel, părul vopsit și extensiile de gene nu mă atrag. Nu le-am testat, în ciuda rezultatelor frumoase văzute la prietenele mele.
But I have to admit that I was excited when Mariana from Mary’s Tricks contacted me. Because she invited me to her beauty salon for the Lash Botox and Henna Brows procedures. So I said, why not? After all, it is the perfect chance to see what it is all about.
Însă am fost foarte entuziasmată când Mary m-a contactat. M-a invitat la salonul ei, Mary’s Tricks, pentru procedura Lash Botox. Am spus: de ce nu? Este momentul să aflu despre ce este vorba.

I was extremely excited about the Lash Botox procedure! After seeing the final results on @marys_tricks Instagram page, there was no way back. Before showing you my before & after pictures, let me tell you what Lash Botox is.
Am fost extrem de nerăbdătoare să încerc vitaminizarea genelor cu Lash Botox. M-au impresionat rezultatele de pe contul de Instagram @marys_tricks. Înainte de a vă arăta fotografiile before & after, am să vă răspund la întrebarea: în ce constă procedura Lash Botox?
The Lash Botox treatment / Vitaminizarea genelor cu Lash Botox
The Lash Botox solution is a cocktail of vitamins. As a result, it helps regenerate the deteriorated eyelashes. It is an advanced technique, recommended for people who prefer a natural look instead of lash extensions. Moreover, it is a non-toxic procedure, which creates long and curved lashes.
Pe lângă faptul că este o procedură de înfrumusețare, Lash Botox este și un tratament. Fiind un cocktail de vitamine, substanța stimulează cresterea și regenerarea genelor subțiri sau deteriorate. Este o tehnică avansată de laminare, recomandată persoanelor ce preferă un look natural în locul extensiilor de gene. Este o tehnică non-toxică. În urma procedurii, genele devin mai lungi, mai curbate și au o culoare mai intensă.
This procedure is non-invasive ( because the term BOTOX might create confusion in this context). That is because no injection or incision is necessary. So it is all about styling the eyelashes.
Este o procedură non-invazivă. Nu este necesară vreo incizie sau injecție (termenul BOTOX poate provoca, în acest caz, confuzie). Procedeul constă strict în stilizarea genelor naturale.
The whole process takes one hour, and the results last for up to two months. However, this depends on the person’s eyelashes and the cosmetic products used.
Procedura durează aproximativ o oră iar efectele pot dura chiar și până la două luni. Eu am avut parte de tratament în urmă cu trei săptămâni, iar efectele încă sunt vizibile în proporție de 75%. Desigur, perioada diferă în funcție de persoană și de produsele cosmetice utilizate.
How is it done? / Cum se realizează?
Firstly, a silicone pad is placed on the upper eyelid. The eyelashes will be stuck to it, to create a curved shape.
Pe pleoapa superioară se așează o pernuță de silicon. De aceasta se vor lipi genele, pentru a putea crea forma curbată.
Secondly, the solutions are applied to the eyelashes: / Urmează aplicarea pe gene a soluțiilor:
- A balm which opens the hair cuticle. This enables a better absorbtion of the nutrients. / Un balsam ce deschide cuticula firului de păr, pentru o mai bună absorbție a nutrienților.
- A solution to fix the eyelashes in curved position. Also, this solution creates volume. / O soluție ce fixează genele în poziția curbată, oferind în același timp volum.
- The eyelash dye. / Vopseaua pentru gene.
- The Lash Botox solution. It is responsible for regenerating and repairing the hair. / Soluția de Lash Botox. Aceasta regenerează și repară firul de păr.
- A solution to protect the eyelashes from negative factors. / O soluție ce protejează genele de factorii negativi.
Thirdly, the silicone pad is removed. Also, any remaining residues are removed from the eyelashes.
La final se îndepărtează pernuța de silicon. Se curăță pleoapa și orice reziduu rămas pe gene.
What is in the Lash Botox solution? / Ce conține soluția Lash Botox?
- Hydrolyzed keratin gets absorbed by the eyelashes. / Keratină hidrolizată – se va absorbi în interiorul firului. Genele au în mod natural keratină în compoziție.
- Collagen – hydrating. Colagen – hidratează.
- Hyaluronic acid balances the pH. / Acid hialuronic – echilibrează pH-ul.
- Citric acid provides vitamin C. / Acid citric – regenerează rezerva de vitamina C.
- Argan oil softens and nourishes the hair. / Ulei de argan – înmoaie firul de păr și îl hrănește.
- Panthenol makes the hair cuticle smoother. As a result, the lashes will have a lustrous aspect. / Pantenol – netezește cuticula firului de păr. Acesta determină aspectul lucios al genelor.
- Pro-vitamin B5 has a repairing and anti-inflammatory effect. / Pro-vitamina B5 – are efect reparator și anti-inflamator.
- Botox – has a filler effect. / Botox – umple golurile din structura firului de păr.
- Toxoferol speeds up the regeneration process of the eyelashes. / Toxoferol – oxigenează și grăbește procesul de regenerare a genelor.
Maintenance / Întreținere
Most importantly, you must not wet your eyelashes 24 hours after the procedure. You can use makeup or skincare products afterward.
Genele nu trebuie udate timp de 24 de ore de la finalizarea procedurii. Nu se vor utiliza nici produse cosmetice.
După 24 de ore se poate aplica machiaj. Se pot folosi din nou produsele preferate de îngrijire și demachiere.
The price for the Lash Botox treatment is 250 lei.

Conclusions / Concluzii
In conclusion, this was a great experience! The Lash Botox procedure has changed my beauty routine. I had my eyelashes done three weeks ago, and I haven’t used mascara since. As a matter of fact, I haven’t worn any makeup at all, most of the time.
Pentru mine a fost o experiență minunată! Dupa ce am avut parte de procedura Lash Botox nu am mai folosit deloc mascara. Da, de trei săptămâni. Recunosc, fac asta pentru a prelungi efectul și a testa durabilitatea. De asemenea, nu mai simt nevoia să utilizez mascara. De fapt, niciun produs de machiaj, de cele mai multe ori.
