Maybelline New York este unul dintre primele branduri de cosmetice pe care le-am utilizat încă din adolescență. Având o mare varietate de produse la prețuri accesibile, pot spune că, pentru mine, Maybelline este unul dintre brandurile go-to, în special în ceea ce privește fondul de ten și mascara.

Produsul despre care voi vorbi astăzi este iluminatorul Master Strobing Liquid.

Important:

Acest review vă prezintă părerea mea despre produsul menționat mai sus. În mod evident, performanța produselor poate diferi de la persoană la persoană.

Master Strobing Liquid Highlighter

Ce spune Maybelline: 

Iluminator lichid care ilumineaza integral tenul, evidentiand trasaturile fetei.

Părerea mea:

Acesta chiar este un produs care nu face ABSOLUT NIMIC. În primă instanță, atunci când iese din recipient, produsul pare chiar promițător. La două secunde după ce a fost aplicat pe ten, acesta se evaporă / absoarbe în piele / dispare cu desăvârșire, și nu se poate observa nicio diferență.

Menționez că tenul meu este foarte deschis la culoare, deși acest lucru nu ar trebui să aibă nicio influență asupra performanței produsului. L-am aplicat pe zona pomeților, după fondul de ten. Nu am observat niciun rezultat, nici după aplicarea pe ten și nici pe dosul palmei. În tutorialele video se pare că trebuie să aplicați o tonă pentru a vedea un glow aproape insesizabil.

Am folosit nuanța MEDIUM NUDE 200. Formula este una fluidă, asemănătoare cu a unui fond de ten lichid.

Cel mai mic preț pe care l-am putut găsi pentru acest produs este de aproximativ 35 de lei.

Verdictul:

Nu îl recomand sub nicio formă, cel puțin nu pe post de iluminator. Prietena mea îl folosește pe pleoape, pentru un glow foarte discret. Recomand în schimb batonul iluminator Master Strobing Stick tot de la Maybelline.

My opinion:

This is a product which does ABSOLUTELY NOTHING. At first, before applying it, the product looks really promising. It has a texture similar to that of a liquid foundation.

Immediately after applying it over the foundation, it evaporates / gets absorbed into the skin / completely disappears, and you can see no difference. 

I have to mention the fact that my skin is very light in color, even though this should not influence the performance of the product in any way. I have applied it on the cheekbones, after using moisturizer and foundation, and I could not see any result. Judging by the video tutorials, you are supposed to apply a ton of product in order to see a slightly noticeable glow.

I have used the shade MEDIUM NUDE 200.

The price of the product on the official Maybelline website is $9.99.

Conclusion:

I absolutely do not recommend it, at least not as a highlighter. My friend uses it as a liquid eye shadow for a subtle glow. I recommend instead the Master Strobing Stick highlighter from Maybelline.
