I have always wanted a long, grey coat, it is a very versatile piece for the fall-winter season. So when I found this one in H&M, I immediately bought it, since the price was also pretty accessible compared to other similar ones that I have seen in other shops.

I have chosen to wear the coat with the high heeled boots because the length of the coat can make you look a bit shorter, and that is one way of balancing out the proportions. I also really like the way the two elements look combined, because they cover the body completely, which means that you can wear literally anything underneath (as many layers of clothing, and even the ugliest but coziest sweater from your grandma – nobody will know).

The red bag is that one detail which really makes the outfit stand out. I assure you that you can wear almost anything, as simple and casual as you want. Once you add any kind of red bag to it, BOOM. Now you can’t walk on the street unnoticed anymore.

This look is more on the elegant side, but you can totally casual it up by switching the knee-high boots with a pair of combat boots, and choose a neutral color for the bag.

A scarf, a pair of gloves and a hat are also must haves if the temperature gets very low. It is very important to protect your hands from the cold, otherwise they will get dry and age faster. Also, it doesn’t matter how thick your sweater is, you will still feel cold if you do not properly cover your neck. That is why I have chosen to wear a thick, black scarf and a pair of gloves with the outfit. I also had a black cap with me, but I have forgotten to put it on during the shooting. 🙁 But you will see it in the third outfit of the series, in two weeks, so stay tuned.

Întotdeauna mi-am dorit un palton gri în garderobă, deoarece este o piesă foarte versatilă pentru sezonul toamnă – iarnă. Atunci când l-am găsit pe acesta la H&M, l-am cumpărat imediat, deoarece corespundea preferințelor mele și prețul era de asemenea destul de accesibil (199 RON) comparativ cu celelalte optiuni din magazine.

Combinația dintre paltonul lung și cizmele cu toc este una foarte potrivită, deoarece lungimea paltonului te poate face să pari mai scundă, iar tocurile contrabalansează acest aspect.

Este foarte important pentru ideea tinutei de astăzi, felul în care cele două elemente acoperă complet corpul. Asta înseamnă că poți purta aproape orice pe dedesubt (chiar și cel mai urât, dar călduros, pulover tricotat). Nimeni nu va ști iar tu vei părea în continuare o zână a outfiturilor de iarnă.

Geanta roșie este detaliul care face întreaga ținută să iasă în evidență. Poți purta aproape orice, o ținută oricât de simplă dorești. Adaugă o geantă roșie, și BOOM. Nu mai poti trece neobservată pe stradă.

Această ținută este puțin mai elegantă, dar o poți transforma într-o ținută casual înlocuind cizmele lungi cu o pereche de ghete, iar pentru geantă poți alege o culoare neutră.

Fularul, mănușile și căciula nu trebuie să lipsească atunci când temperaturile scad. Este foarte important să îți protejezi mâinile de frig, altfel se vor usca și vor îmbătrâni mai rapid. De asemenea, nu contează cât de gros este puloverul pe care îl porți. Dacă nu ai gâtul acoperit, este destul de sigur că tot îți va fi frig, deoarece zona gâtului este unul dintre acele locuri unde se pierde căldura cel mai rapid.

De aceea am ales să port o eșarfă groasă, neagră și o pereche de mănuși. Pregătisem și o căciulă neagră pentru ținută, dar am uitat să o pun în timpul shootingului… O veți vedea peste două săptămâni, la cea de-a treia ținută din seria lookurilor de iarnă. 😀
