LAST MINUTE VALENTINE’S DAY OUTFIT IDEAS

Valentine’s Day is just around the corner, so I have prepared a list of 3 last minute Valentine’s Day outfit ideas! I have covered 3 styles: glam, elegant and casual. So feel free to chose the one that will be perfect for your rendez-vous.

My favorite last minute Valentine’s Day outfit ideas

You know I am not a big fan of Valentine’s Day. That is because I believe love should be celebrated every day, not only once a year. Couples should always do fun things together, and people should express their feelings of affection every day, not only on Valentine’s day. But I know there are lots of people out there who really enjoy Valentine’s day. So I am here to help.

Here are the three outfits that I have created to serve as inspiration:

Outfit 1:

Last year was all about slip dresses and wearing lingerie outdoors. So this outfit idea is inspired exactly from that trend.

I have paired the lingerie top with the vinyl pants, which are everywhere nowadays. Every fashionista has at least one pair of those in her closet. Then, to keep it sweet & ladylike, I have chosen pink and rose gold accessories. Moreover, the white jacket emphasizes the waistline. If it’s too cold outside, you can add a short blazer, or switch the jacket with a thicker coat. Also, don’t be afraid to add a hat or gloves. But just make sure to stay in the same color scheme.

Outfit 2:

This outfit is more on the comfortable side. I have chosen two different types of shoes for the sweater dress: the combat boots and the block heel ankle boots. If there is snow on the ground (because some countries do have snow in February), or if you just don’t want to wear heels for the night, go for the leather combat boots. But if you want to feel more dressed up, wear the ankle boots or some knee-high or tigh-high boots.

Then, I have added the green coat for a pop of color to the all-black outfit. I really love how the gold accessories complete the look. On the other hand, the belt is not a must. So you should add it only if the sweater dress feels too baggy and you want to emphasize your waist.

I recommend wearing a red lipstick with this outfit, or a smokey eye with nude lips.

Outfit 3:

This outfit is for all my casual girls out there. You can never go wrong with a white shirt, and the ripped jeans give a super cool vibe to the whole look. Keep it comfy with your favorite pair of sneakers, and put on your red lipstick to add an elegant touch.

As for the jacket, you can rock an all denim look if you are into that kind of combination (and if the weather is favorable). Or you can complete the look with a long red coat.

I know not all of us can afford a Vuitton backpack. But I really like the way this one compliments the color scheme. I have also provided an affordable version of a backpack, from Missguided.

Last minute Valentine’s Day outfit ideas – Conclusions

It is obviously not mandatory to look for the exact same pieces that I have presented above. These ideas of mine have the purpose to inspire you to work with your own clothing items, or give you a hint on what to buy on your next shopping session. Also, another tip would be to have a home spa routine before going out, just to make you feel more relaxed.

If you try any of these ideas out and post pictures of them on Instagram, make sure to tag me or mention me in the description (@alexandra_bulac)! Also, use the #ABFashionTips, I would love to see your photos! 🙂

So, ladies (and gents), which of these outfits was your favorite? Comment below, I am extremely curious to hear your opinion! I read and reply to all of your comments.

We’ll meet again tomorrow, with the first Beauty article of 2018! It is a review of a very popular beauty product nowadays. 🙂
